[Gslug-general] newbie focus

I would like to echo Derek's request. I'm not sure how many noobs are
consistently coming to gslug, but I'd like to chime in and mention that I am
noob and that makes at least 2 of us. While it is helpful and worth the
time to just jump in and try to grapple with some of the more complex and
experience-requiring subject matter at gslug, it might be nice to deal with
some material that is somewhat introductory. My request would be to hear a
basic introduction to shell scripting.

Thanks,

Violette Manning
