Just about 2007-10-09 10:32 -0700, Ken Meyer verbalized:
> So what makes you think I'm shouting, Bri? I'm a very reserved guy, and
> when I shout, it's LIKE THIS :-)
Note that the attribution line is completely random. Just like my sig.
It's fun. Yeah! Fun!
> I still suggest that other UGs be invited to post their meetings on it as
> well.
I agree with Ian - if you want to have more than one, then you add more
than one, and don't get unwanted clutter. If someone wants to maintain
a "All seattle area LUGs" list, that'd be dandy.
(What'd be great is if Google Calendar had a 'union view" option, where
it could aggregate multiple calendars as a single iCal/XML/etc calendar.
Maybe one day.)
> Why am I getting two copies of each post to General?
When someone sends to general and cc's you, then you get two.
Many mail systems can trim it down to just one copy (procmail
pre-processing, smart mail clients, etc) and others don't.
Think of it like a present every day!
> Thanks for gritting your teeth and adding the subject line tags.
No problem. I had one teeth gritting in me, and subject line
mungification won. Reply-to munging didn't.
> You could
> abbreviate to orgs, gen and ann or ano to save characters, but this is fine
> as is.
Eh, I think it's fine.
