[Gslug-general] MythTV and Comcast Digital Cable

I just upgraded my Comcast service to their digital cable product and
received a free, for one year, DVR.  Naturally I'd like to build a
MythTV to replace the DVR by next year.  

What I'd like to know is does the MythTV interface with Comcast's
digital cable.  At one time I thought that you needed a card to allow
3rd party cable boxes to interface with Comcast.  But a quick Google
search doesn't seem to show any viable such products.  

I'd also like to know if MythTV can record multiple broadcasts at the
same time, like the Comcast DVR.  

Any help would be appreciated.
