So, I'm not entirely sure where you get these anologies, but you
really should consult a dictonary or something.

That right there is a perfect length for a sig. Though a bit too flag
sucking for me.

"Socialism refers to any one of various economic theories of economic
organization advocating state or cooperative ownership and
administration of the means of production and distribution of goods,
and a society characterized by equal opportunities/means for all
individuals with a more egalitarian method of compensation based on
the full product of the laborer."

If anything closed source is the antithesis of socialism in the relm
of software...

You make both socialsm and communism sound so bad

Or a magical place that will never exist where computer security
people can actually sleep. Given that no one can actually trust their
hardware right now (uhg please don't make me google search that for
you) or really even their kernel (plenty of ways to patch a live
kernel), it would actually be a nice thing to have around, would give
you a safe place you could start securing a system or do an audit
from. As we have things now, all anyone does is just enough running
around as to confuse anyone trying to slip by them...
Also, I'd make an arguement over beers about how we already live in a
corporate run world, and we don't have trusted computing...

Again, definitions. I know "imperial society" sounds cool.... but well:

is all I have to say about that.

I was kinda rooting for people saving the world, but I for one welcome
our new Linux world saving overlords.
